Mighty Oak Medical’s FIREFLY® Navigation Guidance Platform is the perfect solution for both ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and hospital settings. Whether it is a two-level case with abnormal pedicles that would benefit from mechanically constrained navigation, or a complex scoliosis procedure with the goal of limiting radiation exposure to a young patient, FIREFLY® technology is the solution. This technology bundle includes a customized pre-surgical plan, patient-specific guides for each instrumented level, and a 3D printed bone model – all to help the surgeon provide safe, accurate, and reproducible outcomes for every patient.

UNSURPASSED ACCURACY FIREFLY® Navigation Guides provide superior accuracy and precision for implant placement along each planned trajectory by incorporating multiple points of anatomical contact and mechanical constraint for instrumentation.[2] The FIREFLY® Navigation Guides provides a solution with similar performance to that of a robotic arm port, but without the need to reregister the patient due to intersegmental motion.
OPEN SCREW PLATFORM FIREFLY® Navigation Guidance Platform is an open platform, screw-agnostic system enabling surgeons to select the screw system that best suits their patient so there is no compromising or needing to learn new systems.
REDUCED RADIATION The use of FIREFLY® Navigation Guides not only greatly reduces the amount of radiation exposure to the patient, but also to the OR staff intraoperatively. When compared to an intraoperative O-Arm spin or the average intraoperative C-Arm dosage, the use of mechanical guides reduced radiation exposure by 94% or 87% respectively[3].
